Hi, I'm Katherine

As a leader, I strive to build healthy, impactful design teams that drive real business value. I believe that great design at scale requires intentional investment in systems, people, and culture, so every designer can pursue their their growth goals while delivering great work. I view my role as creating the conditions for that success, within and beyond my team.

In my own work as a designer, I have deep experience designing for complex, customizable security and adminsistrative tooling at the enterprise level. I have also designed government-grade security tooling and helped Palantir secure their FedRAMP High certification.

Outside of work, I spend my time solving New York Times crosswords, exploring my local restaurant scene, and wheel throwing ceramics. I am also a passionate skier and Toronto Maple Leafs fan.

    Leading the product design function at Cohere building North, our enterprise agentic platform. Working with North leadership on product and business strategy, organizational planning, and operational processes. Scaling the design team through hiring and ways of working while upholding a high quality bar in execution. Designing agentic security and administrative workflows to enable North customers to independently manage their instance.

    Led and scaled the design function at Rose Rocket, driving team and product strategy, hiring efforts, and coaching individual designers on their growth. Designed core platform capabiilities in close collaboration with Product and Engineering.

    Led a team of designers in Foundry's platform security group, working with my reports to maximize their business impact and support them in their growth. Tackled platform-level problems as a Product Designer in Figma, defining vision for the group, and developing operational processes to improve designer setup.
